Brig, a QB, has been in communication with several D2 schools throughout the region. He needs to show what he can do this season while recruiters are actively recruiting. His parents are not paying for his college so he needs this scholarship opportunity to help him finance a good education to help him achieve his career goals. Brig says that he needs this season for personal reasons as well. He needs to be with his team working toward a common goal. Of all the years that I have played football, I can’t think of a time when unity was needed more than right now.
If Brig does not get a scholarship he says he “will still go to college, but I will scrape and claw my way to pay for it all and it may take me longer to complete my degree as a result of needing to work so much. Also, I will miss out on the life lessons that would come from playing a team sport in college and the relationships that I would build with future teammates. Please let us play!”
