Bryaden was in contact with multiple D2 coaches and a few D1 Ivy League coaches, all waiting to see senior year film. He has not heard from them recently and is afraid they have moved on from the Colorado class of 2021. The uncertainty behind whether or not football will be his entry into college is frustrating, and he has to make other plans if there is no opportunity to share senior film. With applications opening soon, Brayden will have to make a decision if he should wait for college coaches to offer him or start the traditional application process.
He is disappointed with the current situation as he was looking looking forward to leading his team to a good season and proving he was worthy of a college offer. Brayden had been hoping to use football as a way to lighten the amount of student loans he would need. He has the grades to go to college, just not the financial resources. If he does not get an athletic scholarship the number of schools in which he can afford to attend diminishes greatly.
